They say you’re lazy. No. You’re not. You just lack this thing..

They say you’re lazy. No. You’re not. You just lack this thing..

Imagine this:

you’ve just woken up, but you still feel tired despite getting a full eight hours of sleep. You hit that snooze button several times, still not in the mood to get out of bed.

Then, you scroll through social media for 15-20 minutes, seeing posts from friends about their accomplishments and adventures.

With some time to kill before work, you turn on the TV and watch whatever show is on. You don’t care about the content, it’s just plain background noise.

There’s no excitement or anticipation about what the day might bring—it’s just another day to get through.

Trust me, I know how depressing that time feels. I was once like that before...

It affects your energy levels, making you feel exhausted even after a full night’s rest. You often feel restless and unfulfilled, sensing that life is just passing you by.

Despite having potential, you remain stuck in a routine, unsure how to break free and pursue something meaningful.

That’s until I learned how to set goals for myself..

And I can break it down into two:

1. Big goals:

These help you stay motivated and focused, giving you a sense of purpose and direction. This can be building a business, improving your personal growth mindset, or improving your health.

2. Small goals:

These are daily goals, habits, and small milestones that give you a sense of accomplishment as you work on your big goals.

Focusing solely on big goals can be overwhelming.

By working on small, incremental steps, you can create momentum and stay motivated as you work on bigger goals. This can be making two sales, avoiding distractions, or exercising.

The basketball legend Kobe Bryant once said, “If you stand at the bottom of Mt. Everest and look up, you’re gonna say, ‘I’m not climbing Mt. Everest.’ But if you break it down into sections and just put one foot in front of the other, one step at a time, next thing you know you’re at the top of the mountain.”

Having goals and a sense of purpose boosts your overall energy levels and gives you a reason to get out of bed and start the day with enthusiasm.

If you start the day knowing what to do, you don’t overthink. When you don’t overthink, you don’t procrastinate. When you don’t procrastinate, you’ll take massive actions, which can give you massive results.

Goals give you a sense of direction and purpose, making your daily activities more meaningful.
